Walter Lechner Racing
Lechner Racing, formerly known as Walter Lechner Racing is an auto racing team based in Austria. It is also known as the Lechner Racing School. Lechner Racing has established the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East and organizes the series as a subcontractor of Porsche AG. History Sports car racing Walter Lechner Racing competed in the Interserie in the 1990s and developed their own car in conjunction with Reynard Motorsport, the Lechner Spyder SC91. Since then, the team has actively competed in the Porsche Supercup series since 2003. They won their first Teams' Championship title in 2005 and two more followed in 2007 and 2008. In 2005, the team won both trophies as Alessandro Zampedri collected the Drivers' Championship with a win at the Circuit de Catalunya. Drivers such as Richard Westbrook, Damien Faulkner, Danny Watts and Patrick Huisman have also driven for the team over the years and were successful, winning many races. The Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East is the Middle East motor racing series based on the famous Porsche 911 GT3 Cup launched in 2009. Due to summer temperatures in the Middle East, the races are held in the winter to have regular temperatures for cars, tires, teams and drivers. Each season starts at the end of a year (in November) and finishes (in March) the next year. Thomas Preining
Thomas Preining (born 21 July 1998) is an Austrian racing driver who is the 2018 German Porsche Carrera Cup champion. Career Formula 4 Preining's first season in single seaters was in 2015 with German team ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg where he competed at the first two rounds in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship where he got a podium in only his third race at this level at Oschersleben. Preining finished the season with 16 points. Preining competed in another F4 championship in 2015 where he raced at the first round in the Italian F4 Championship at Vallelunga with German team Mücke Motorsport. His best finish was 10th. In 2016 he returned to the ADAC F4 grid for the full season but this time racing for Austrian team Lechner Racing. Preining would go on to finished the season with two wins and a further 4 podiums, this helped him to 4th in the championship with 180.5 points. Michael Ammermüller
Michael Ammermüller (born 14 February 1986) is a racing driver from Germany. After competing in various junior formulae, he became a test and reserve driver for the Red Bull Racing Formula One team in the 2007 season. Following this, he represented Germany in the final two seasons of the A1 Grand Prix series in 2007-08 and 2008-09, before competing for two seasons in ADAC GT Masters. In 2012, he began competing in the Porsche Supercup series for Walter Lechner Racing. He won three consecutive seasons, having won in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Sven Müller (racing Driver)
Sven Müller (born February 7, 1992, in Mainz) is a German-Swiss racing driver. He took the Porsche Supercup title in 2016. Career Müller began his racing career in karting 2004. He remained in karting until 2009. 2010 he started for Eifelland Racing in the ADAC Formel Masters, a formula racing series. He regularly scored points and concluded his first season on the ninth championship position. 2011 Müller participated in the ADAC Formula Masters for ma-con Motorsport. He won four races and finished 12 times on the podium. He became third in the standings behind Pascal Wehrlein and Emil Bernstorff. 2012 Müller starts for Prema Powerteam in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Philipp Eng
Philipp Eng (born 28 February 1990 in Salzburg) is an Austrian professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. Career Karting Eng started karting in 2003, by competing in Intercontinental A Junior karts, competing in the Andrea Margutti Trophy and the Italian Open Masters. Eng finished 18th in the Margutti Trophy, leading home Marco Wittmann, while he finished 30th in the Italian Open Masters. Eng continued at JICA level in 2004, finishing seventh in the Margutti Trophy, and 31st in the European Championship. One highlight however was that Eng won the Italian Open Masters, holding off Wittmann again by five points. He moved to ICA level in 2005, but only contested the Italian Championship and the Open Masters. Eng finished in the top ten of both series, ranking ninth in the Open Masters and tenth in the Italian Championship.
