Gene Gerrard
Gene Gerrard (31 August 1892 – 1 June 1971) was an English film and stage actor, and occasional film director. He starred in light musical comedies but returned to his stage career by the 1930s. He was born Eugene O'Sullivan and began as a cutter in his father's tailoring business in High Holborn, Central London. He became an assistant to ''Mozart'' and made his stage début at the revue at the Alhambra Theatre of Variety, London in 1910 and his screen début in 1912 for the ''Hepworth Company''. He served in the Great War. He is billed as ''"The 'GENIE' of laughter"'' on the poster for ''The Wife's Family'' (1931). Joan White
Joan White (1909-1999) was a British actress, theatre director and educator who over a career that spanned 65 years became a popular figure on the London stage, appeared in films and television and produced and directed plays on both sides of the Atlantic, and trained many of the young to follow in her footsteps. She worked with such storied names as Laurence Olivier, Paul Scofield, Tyrone Guthrie, and Christopher Fry in their successes, and with others such as Rex Harrison, Mischa Auer and Tyrone Guthrie in their failures. As a master of the art of high comedy she entertained numberless audiences, and through her students left an indelible mark on the future of her profession. Bruno Bianco Alberto G. G. Barnabe (3 April 1905 – 20 June 1998) was an English film and stage actor. He performed in the West End, on Broadway, and in Egypt, Australia and New Zealand. Biography Barnabe was born in St Giles, London on 3 April 1905 to Tina (née Bendi) and Louis Vincent Barnabe. He married Avice Landone, who died in 1976. He trained for the stage at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where he studied mime under Theodore Komisarjevsky. Barnabe served with the British Armed Forces from 1942 through 1946. He died in June 1998. Stage career Barnabe made his first stage appearance on 4 April 1927 playing a wedding guest in ''The Dybbuk'' at the Royalty Theatre. In October 1928, Barnabe travelled to Egypt as a member of a Shakespearean company led by Robert Atkins.
