Wael El Hindi
Wael Hatem El-Hendy (; born June 25, 1980 in Giza) is a professional squash player who represented Egypt. A Professional Squash Association (PSA) member since 1999, Wael El Hindi has long been regarded as one of Egypt's most talented players – first making his mark in the USA in 1998 when he reached the final of the World Junior Championship as a 5/8 seed. Steady progress on the Tour saw the 28-year-old from Giza – who currently divides his time between Egypt and England – reached a career high ranking of World No. 8 in November 2008. Professional career El Hindi reached his first Tour final in Spain at the Trofeo Aquarius Open in October 1999 – but it was a further two years later, in the same country, that he claimed his maiden title at the Spanish Open in Tenerife, in September 2001. The Tournament of Champions is an annual international squash championship held in New York City. In recent years, the event has been held at Grand Central Terminal, in a specially-constructed four-walled glass court in the Vanderbilt Hall. The tournament was first held in 1930. Lee Beachill
Lee Beachill (born 28 November 1977 in Huddersfield, United Kingdom) is a former World No. 1 squash player from England. Beachill reached the World No. 1 ranking in October 2004. He also finished runner-up at the World Open that year. Beachill was part of the English team which won the World Team Squash Championships in 2005. He has also won gold medals for England in the men's doubles at the Commonwealth Games in 2002 and 2006, partnering Peter Nicol on both occasions. Beachill has won the British National Squash Championships three times – in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Beachill announced his retirement from the game in February 2009 after undergoing hernia surgery. Anthony Ricketts
Anthony Ricketts (born 12 March 1979 in Sydney, New South Wales) is a former professional squash player from Australia. Ricketts won the British Open in 2005, beating James Willstrop in the final 11–7, 11–9, 11–7. He also won the 2005 Tournament of Champions title, and the Super Series Finals in 2006. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games, Ricketts won a Silver Medal in the men's doubles partnering Stewart Boswell. Ricketts and Boswell again won a men's doubles Silver Medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. The pair won the men's doubles title at the 2006 World Doubles Squash Championships. Nicholas Matthew (born 25 July 1980 in Sheffield) is a former English professional squash player who has won the two most prestigious tournaments in the professional game, the British Open and the World Open, three times each. Karim Darwish ( ar, كريم درويش; born 29 August 1981) is an Egyptian squash player. Career overview As a junior player, he won the World Junior Championship title in 2000, and the British Junior Open title in 1999. Earlier in 2008, Darwish finished runner-up at the World Open, losing in the final to fellow Egyptian player Ramy Ashour (11–5, 8–11, 4–11, 5–11).
