The WWL Americas Championship (''Campeonato de Las Américas de la WWL'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling championship promoted by the World Wrestling League (WWL) promotion in Puerto Rico. The first champion was crowned on October 18, 2014, when Laredo Kid defeated BJ and Joe Bravo. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants execute scripted ''Scripted'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Icon for Hire. World Wrestling League
La Liga Wrestling (formerly World Wrestling League or Liga Mundial de Lucha), was a wrestling promotion company based out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Founded in 2012 by businessman Richard Negrín with the cooperation of established wrestling figures such as Hugo Savinovich, the company developed a global scope, establishing alliances with over a dozen international promotions and holding shows throughout the Americas. In line with the traditional model of professional wrestling, LLW's shows do not feature legitimate sporting contests. Maunabo () is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the Maunabo Valley on the southeastern coast, northeast of Patillas and south of Yabucoa. John Jesús Yurnet (born June 21, 1987), better known by his ring name Mecha Wolf 450, is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler and professional wrestling trainer. Hiram Mulero (September 16, 1983) is a semi-retired Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He is best known under his ring name, Hiram Tua, which he has used in several of Puerto Rico's promotions, including the International Wrestling Association, the World Wrestling Council and the World Wrestling League. Laredo Kid (born December 30, 1986) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is currently signed to both Impact Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, but is currently inactive due to abdominal surgery.
