WP Motorsports
WP Motorsports was an ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR Busch Series team. History The team owners were Steve Palac (Youngstown, OH), Darin Pinkham (Phoenix, AZ), Charles Woodruff and Scott Pinkham (Cornwall, NY). The team was formed in 2000 in preparation for the 2001 ARCA Racing Series and the 2001 NASCAR Busch Series. In 2001 WP Motorsports entered in their first NASCAR Busch Series race at Gateway Motorsports Park at the CarQuest Auto Parts 250 in Illinois and finished in 20th place in their #12 car driven by Mike Swaim Jr. That same year they raced at Michigan Speedway during the NASCAR Busch NAPAonline.com 250 and finished in 25th place. Damon Lusk
Damon Lusk (born September 18, 1977) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He primarily competed in the ARCA Re/Max Series, where he scored two wins in 53 starts between 2000 and 2009. In addition, he ran part-time in the NASCAR Busch Series for six years (each year from 1999 to 2005 excluding 2000). This most notably included his 2003 campaign, when he left ARCA to focus on competing in the Busch Series, where he ran eleven races for Tommy Baldwin Racing. Racing career Lusk entered NASCAR in 1997, competing in 28 NASCAR Northwest Series events from that year until 1999. He had the exact same stats in his 21 starts across two seasons with zero wins (1998 and 1999) in the NASCAR Southwest Series, but also won one pole position. Stock car racing events in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway since the track's inauguration in 1995. For much of its history, it was the final race of the second-tier series' season. The event is currently named Contender Boats 300 for sponsorship reasons; with exception of one-off emergency races in 2020 and a one-off change in 2021, the race has been held as a 300-mile race. Jim Kelly
James Edward Kelly (born February 14, 1960) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons with the Buffalo Bills. He also spent two seasons with the Houston Gamblers of the United States Football League (USFL). Kelly played college football at Miami, where he was the Offensive MVP of the 1981 Peach Bowl. One of the six quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft, Kelly was selected 14th overall by the Bills. He chose to sign with the Gamblers instead and did not play for the Bills until the USFL folded in 1986. Daytona International Speedway is a race track in Daytona Beach, Florida, United States. Since opening in 1959, it has been the home of the Daytona 500, the most prestigious race in NASCAR as well as its season opening event. Atlanta Motor Speedway
Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly known Atlanta International Raceway from 1960 to 1990) is a 1.54-mile entertainment facility in Hampton, Georgia, United States, 20 miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. It has annually hosted NASCAR Cup Series stock car races since its inauguration in 1960. The venue was bought by Speedway Motorsports in 1990. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. Pocono Organics CBD 325
The Pocono Organics CBD 325 was a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race held annually at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. The race was the first of two NASCAR Cup Series races at Pocono Raceway, with the other being the Pocono 350, held the next day. First held as a race during the 1982 season, it served as a replacement for the race at Texas World Speedway. Starting in 2012, the race distance was reduced to 400 miles. In 2020, the race became a doubleheader, with the Pocono Organics 325 being a Saturday afternoon race and the Pocono 350 on Sunday afternoon, and be held on the last weekend in June. The NASCAR Cup Series is the top racing series of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI) was a race team founded by Dale Earnhardt and his wife, Teresa Earnhardt, to compete in the NASCAR series, the highest level of competition for professional stock car racing in the United States.
