WOW World Tag Team Championship
The WOW World Tag Team Championship is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion Women of Wrestling (WOW). Miami's Sweet Heat (Laurie Carlson and Lindsey Carlson) are the current champions in their third reign. History On January 20, 2001, Caged Heat ( Delta Lotta Pain and Loca) defeated Harley's Angels (Charlie Davidson and EZ Rider) in the end of 12-teams tournament to become the inaugural champions. Through the tapings of the revived WOW in 2013, Caged Heat returned as champions, but quickly lost the title to The All American Girls (Amber O'Neal and Santana Garrett). On May 16, 2019, Adrenaline and Fire defeated Monsters of Madness (Hazard and Jessicka Havok) in the finals of a 12-teams tournament to win the vacant title. Women Of Wrestling
WOW – Women of Wrestling, is an American women's professional wrestling promotion founded in 2000 by David McLane (who also founded Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW)). WOW is based in Los Angeles, California, and is owned by McLane and Los Angeles Lakers owner/president Jeanie Buss. Initially broadcasting in syndication during in the 2000–01 television season, WOW is a sports entertainment-styled product where its talent portrays heavily dramatized characters. History WOW has been recognized as one of the few nationally broadcast wrestling promotions featuring an all-female roster. Only twenty-four television episodes and a pay-per-view event were produced during its initial run. In 2002, McLane sought a partnership with Kiss frontman Gene Simmons to revive the promotion. Career Acting career Billard's first commercial, "Green Bay Watch", was for Diet Dr Pepper and was shown during Super Bowl XXXV. Killer Death Machines was a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Jessicka Havok and Nevaeh. They were best known for their time in Impact Wrestling. They also competed as a team in the independent circuit most notably for Shimmer Women Athletes and Rise Wrestling, where they are the reigning and longest reigning Guardians of RISE Champions in their first reign. The team would also compete for Women of Wrestling's sixth season as Monsters of Madness in 2019. The team would also compete in Impact Wrestling from 2020 to 2021 until the team disbanded after repetitive losses as Nevaeh turned on Havok. In professional wrestling, kayfabe, as a noun, is the portrayal of staged events within the industry as "real" or "true", specifically the portrayal of competition, rivalries, and relationships between participants as being genuine and not staged. The term ''kayfabe'' has evolved to also become a code word of sorts for maintaining this "reality" within the direct or indirect presence of the general public. Kayfabe, in the United States, is often seen as the suspension of disbelief that is used to create the non-wrestling aspects of promotions, such as feuds, angles, and gimmicks in a manner similar to other forms of fictional entertainment.
