WOCH-CD
WOCH-CD, virtual channel 41 ( UHF digital channel 49), was a low-powered, Class A Charge!- affiliated television station licensed to Chicago, Illinois, United States. The station was owned by NRJ TV, LLC. History WOCH started broadcasting on September 27, 1989 as W04CK and later broadcast on several channels. In 2005, it moved to its final channel location on channel 41 to avoid interference with the digital signal of Milwaukee NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV (channel 4). WOCH upgraded to Class A status on December 29, 2005, thus protecting their channel position from further displacements. During its days on channel 28 (which was its location prior to moving to channel 41), it ran The Box Music Network from midnight to noon with Korean American Broadcasting Company (or KBC) programming from noon to midnight. MTV2
MTV2 (formerly M2) is an American pay television Cable television, channel owned by the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel launched initially as an all-music video service, once the original MTV had started to shift its programming. As with its parent network, MTV2's focus on music programming would gradually be downplayed during the 2000s. By 2011, MTV2 would primarily target young adult men with original and acquired lifestyle and reality programming, reruns of male-targeting shows from MTV, acquired sitcoms and movies, and a daily block of Hip hop music, hip hop and Rock music, rock genre videos in the early mornings. KM Communications, Inc. is the owner of several television and radio stations throughout the United States. The company, based in Skokie, Illinois, gets its name from the first names of its President, Myoung Hwa Bae and her husband, Kun Chae Bae. Their son, Kevin Joel Bae, is the General Manager of the company. Founded in 1988, KM Communications has grown to nine radio stations and 10 television stations, with construction permits for seven additional radio and nine additional television stations. The Works was an American digital broadcast television network owned by the MGM Television division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
