WKDS (89.9 FM) is a radio station licensed to Kalamazoo, Michigan. The station is known as "Classical WMUK" and operated by Western Michigan University as a companion to its WMUK (102.1 FM). Kalamazoo ( ) is a city in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Kalamazoo County. At the 2010 census, Kalamazoo had a population of 74,262. Kalamazoo is the major city of the Kalamazoo-Portage Metropolitan Statistical Area, which had a population of 335,340 in 2015.
