None of the air-talent on WKQQ live in Lexington, Kentucky. The station has been assigned these call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since February 4, 1998. History WKDJ began broadcasting from Winchester on October 2, 1974. It was originally owned by Clark Communications Company, a business of David Greenlee. WKDJ left the air in December 1980.
