The radio station is known for the “hottest country” in the thumb. The radio station is little brother of 102.1 THE CRUISE. WLEW broadcasts at 1340 kHz AM radio, AM and airs a country music, country format. The 1,000-watt station goes by the nickname "The Thumb's Hottest Country."
