WKVK (106.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Contemporary Christian format. Licensed to Semora, North Carolina, it serves a large swath of central North Carolina and Southside Virginia as an outlet of K-LOVE. The station is currently owned by Educational Media Foundation. Semora is an unincorporated community in Caswell County, North Carolina, United States. It lies just northwest of Hyco Lake and has some presence in Person County. Semora is home to one of the oldest churches in North Carolina, the Red House Presbyterian Church. Neighboring North Carolina communities and municipalities include: Yanceyville, Milton, Roxboro, Leasburg, and Blanch. Alton, Virginia is a neighbor to the north. Southside Virginia
Southside, or Southside Virginia, has traditionally referred to the portion of the state south of the James River, the geographic feature from which the term derives its name. This was the first area to be developed in the colonial period. During the colonial era, Southside was considered the area where entrepreneurs settled, as opposed to some of the more established and wealthier families in the Tidewater counties. Danville is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States, located in the Southside Virginia region and on the fall line of the Dan River.
