WKDV is a Regional Mexican formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Manassas, Virginia, serving Northern Virginia. WKDV is owned and operated by Metro Radio, Inc. The station has been silent since December 2020, when the 11-acre site in Manassas which had hosted the broadcast towers since the 1960s was sold. Former format In the 1990s, the station was a Radio AAHS Radio AAHS was a radio network managed by the Children's Broadcasting Corporation. Manassas (), formerly Manassas Junction, is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. The population was 42,772 at the 2020 Census. It is the county seat of Prince William County, although the two are separate jurisdictions. Manassas borders the independent city of Manassas Park, Virginia. Radio AAHS was a radio network managed by the Children's Broadcasting Corporation. Its flagship station was WWTC (1280 AM) in Minneapolis, which broadcast from the former First Federal Bank building at Minnesota State Highway 100 and Excelsior Boulevard in St. Louis Park. At its height in 1996, Radio AAHS had 29 affiliates across the nation. Founder Christopher Dahl had purchased WWTC in 1990 and created an outlet for children's music, specifically targeted at listeners 5 to 10. The musical format had songs from children's films, but also created a niche for songs recorded specifically to entertain children. The programming was driven, in large part, by listener requests, and many of the choices were little known outside that audience. WTNT (730 AM) is a Spanish hits radio station licensed to Alexandria, Virginia and serving the Washington metro area. WTNT is owned and operated by Metro Radio. 730 kHz is a Canadian and Mexican clear-channel frequency. The station flipped formats to a Spanish music and talk format dubbed "La Capital" on December 1, 2013. History WTNT signed on as WPIK December 10, 1945. For many years this station operated as the AM side to country station WXRA 105.9 FM, and for another period as WPKX "Kix Country."
