Locally owned by Circle City Broadcasting, it is a sister station to Circle City's duopoly of Indianapolis-licensed CW affiliate WISH-TV (channel 8) and Marion-licensed MyNetworkTV affiliate WNDY-TV (channel 23). WTLC (AM)
WTLC (1310 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is owned by Urban One and broadcasts an urban gospel radio format, with some Christian talk and teaching shows heard middays and afternoons. The studios and offices are downtown at the corner of Meridian and St. Joseph Streets. By day, WTLC transmits 5,000 watts, non-directional. To avoid interference to other stations on 1310 AM frequency, it reduces power at night to 1,000 watts and switches to a directional antenna with a three- tower array that focuses the broadcast signal more to the north-northeast, west-northwest, and east-southeast. NTA Film Network
The NTA Film Network was an early American television network founded by Ely Landau in 1956. The network was not a full-time television network like CBS, NBC, or ABC. Rather, it operated on a part-time basis, broadcasting films and several first-run television programs from major Hollywood studios. Despite attracting over 100 affiliate stations and the financial support of Twentieth Century-Fox (which purchased a 50% share of NTA in November 1956), the network proved unprofitable and was discontinued by 1961.
