Wyoming Highway 153 (WYO 153) was a short spur route of WYO 152 in central Goshen County, south of the town of Yoder and northwest of Hawk Springs. Route description Wyoming Highway 153 began its western end south of Yoder at Wyoming Highway 152 which travels west and north from here. WYO 153 only travelled just over a mile east before ending at Goshen County Route 133. WYO 153 lies north of Springer Reservoir. Goshen County is a county in the U.S. state of Wyoming. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 12,498. Its county seat is Torrington. The eastern boundary of the County borders the Nebraska state line. Goshen County produces more cattle than any other Wyoming county. In 1997, the county had a total of 688 farms and ranches, averaging 1,840 acres. As of 2007, this had declined slightly to 665 farms and ranches in the county. History Goshen County was created in 1911 from a portion of Laramie County. Its government was organized in 1913. Hawk Springs State Recreation Area is located 6 miles (9.7 km) southeast of Hawk Springs. Geography Hawk Springs is located at (41.784703, -104.263877). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2), all land. Wyoming Highway 152
Wyoming Highway 152 (WYO 152) was a Wyoming State Road located in central Goshen County that served the community of Yoder and areas south and west of the community. Route description Wyoming Highway 152 began its western end southwest of Yoder at an intersection with three Goshen county routes; County Route 124 (west), County Route 128 (south), and County Route 202 (north). From there Highway 152 headed east until it intersected the western terminus of Wyoming Highway 153, where then WYO 152 turned north towards Yoder. WYO 152 turned east then north again before reaching Yoder and intersected the southern end of Wyoming Highway 154 in Yoder. WYO 154 heads west, as WYO 152 turned east and left Yoder, crossing the Fort Laramie Canal a mile before reaching its eastern end at an intersection with U.S. Route 85 and Wyoming Highway 161 just east of Yoder.
