The Town of Wyoming is a town located in Iowa County, Wisconsin, Iowa County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 364 at the 2000 census. Landmarks Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin (studio), Taliesin is located in the town, as is his Wyoming Valley School. Unity Chapel, designed by Joseph Lyman Silsbee and worked on by Wright, is also located in Wyoming. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 40.8 square miles (105.8 km2), of which, 39.8 square miles (103.0 km2) of it is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) of it (2.64%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 364 people, 145 households, and 107 families residing in the town. The population density was 9.2 people per square mile (3.5/km2). A town is a human settlement. Towns are generally larger than villages and smaller than cities, though the criteria to distinguish between them vary considerably in different parts of the world.
