Wyoming's 21st State Senate District
Wyoming's 21st State Senate district is one of 31 districts in the Wyoming Senate. The district encompasses part of Sheridan County, Wyoming, Sheridan County. It is represented by Republican Party (United States), Republican Senator Bo Biteman of Ranchester, Wyoming, Ranchester. In 1992, the state of Wyoming switched from electing state legislators by county to a district-based system. Bo Biteman
Dennis Dean "Bo" Biteman (born October 23, 1978) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Wyoming Senate representing District 21 since January 7, 2019. He previously served in the Wyoming House of Representatives representing District 51 from 2017 to 2019. Elections 2016 Biteman challenged incumbent state Senate Majority Leader Rosie Berger in the Republican primary and defeated Berger with 56% of the vote. Biteman defeated Democrat Hollis Hackman in the general election with 69% of the vote. Political future In 2023, former President Donald Trump publicly encouraged Biteman to run for Governor of Wyoming in 2026. Political positions Biteman is a staunch conservative. He supports restrictions on abortion; as in February 2020 he introduced a fetal heart bill to regulate abortion. Wyoming Legislature
The Wyoming State Legislature is the legislative branch of the U.S. State of Wyoming. The Wyoming Senate is the upper house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 30 Senators in the Senate, representing an equal number of constituencies across Wyoming, each with a population of at least 17,000.
