Wuttichai Tathong ( th, วุฒิชัย ทาทอง; born April 11, 1985) is a Thai retired professional footballer who played as a striker. Honours International ;Thailand U-23 * Sea Games Gold Medal (1); 2007 International career Wuttichai won the 2007 Southeast Asian Games with Thailand national under-23 football team. In 2014, he was called up to the national team by Kiatisuk Senamuang to play in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification, but did not make an appearance. Personal life Wuttichai's brother Chainarong Tathong is also a footballer. Football At The 2007 Southeast Asian Games
The association football tournament at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games was held from 1 to 14 December in Nakhon Ratchasima Province of Thailand. The men's tournament is played by U-23 (under 23 years old) national teams, while the women's tournament has no age limit. Hosts Thailand won gold in both men's and women's tournament, beating Myanmar and Vietnam respectively. Singapore won the bronze medal at the men's tournament, their first after 12 years while Myanmar won bronze of the women's. The Thai League 1 ( th, ไทยลีก 1), often referred to as T1, is the top level of the Thai football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Thai League 2. Chainarong Tathong ( th, ชัยณรงค์ ทาทอง, born 31 January 1987), simply known as Bie ( th, บี้) is a Thai retired professional footballer who plays as a striker. Personal life Chainarong's brother, Wuttichai Tathong, is also a footballer as a striker. Club career At BBCU, Chainarong was the 2010 Thai Division 1 League top scorer with 19 goals. Muangthong United bought him from BBCU in 2012. In 2013, he was loaned to Army United. In the second leg of the 2013 Thai Premier League, Chainarong came back to Muangthong after impressive form with Army United. He scored his first Muangthong United goal against Samut Songkhram.
