Wuhan Three Towns Football Club () is a professional football club that currently participates in the Chinese Super League under licence from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The club is based in Wuhan, Hubei and their home stadium is the Hankou Cultural Sports Centre with a seating capacity of 20,000. History The club was established as Wuhan Shangwen (Simplified Chinese: 武汉尚文) in 2013 by the Wuhan Football Association and private investment from the Wuhan Benhui Group, to mainly focus on the development of youth players. In 2018, the club started to participate in Wuhan Super League, and finished second right behind Wuhan Chufeng Heli. They also participated in 2018 Chinese Champions League, and making it to the final round of 16 before being eliminated by Nanjing Shaye. Wallace Fortuna dos Santos (born 14 October 1994), known as simply Wallace, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Wuhan Three Towns as a centre back. Club career A youth product of Cruzeiro, Wallace caused great stir when football agent Jorge Mendes's Gestifute paid €9.5 million to sign him from Cruzeiro in early July 2014. However, as his registration rights as a footballer must owned by a football club, Wallace was "signed" by S.C. Braga which owned 10% economic rights (for the future transfer fee), with a release clause at €40 million. Gao Zhunyi (; ; born 21 August 1995) is a Chinese professional footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League club Wuhan Three Towns. Club career Gao Zhunyi started his football career when he joined Shanghai Luckystar in 2009. On 31 January 2014, he transferred to J2 League side Kataller Toyama, which made him the third Chinese footballer to play in the Japanese professional leagues after Jia Xiuquan and Xu Xiaofei. Zhang Wentao (; born 14 April 1993) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Chinese Super League side Wuhan Three Towns. Liu Yiming (; born 28 February 1995) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for China League One side Wuhan Three Towns. Club career Liu started his football career when he joined Dalian Yiteng's youth academy in 2006. He went on trial with Sporting CP's youth academy in 2012 and joined soon after. Qu Cheng (; born February 8, 1989) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays as a striker for China League One side Wuhan Three Towns. Deng Zhuoxiang (, born 24 October 1988) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Wuhan Three Towns in the China League One. Club career Deng Zhuoxiang started his football career in the 2005 league season playing for Wuhan Optics Valley; however, he would have to wait until the 2006 league season to make his debut against Tianjin Teda on 12 July 2006 in a 4–3 loss.
