Wrs (Romanian Singer)
Andrei-Ionuț Ursu (; born 16 January 1993), previously known as Wrs (; stylized in all lowercase), is a Romanian singer-songwriter and dancer. He represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "", placing 18th in the final. Life and career Andrei-Ionuț Ursu was born in Buzău on 16 January 1993. He started dancing at the age of 12, encouraged by his parents who were folk music dancers. Ursu worked as a dancer for artists such as Inna, Antonia or Carla's Dreams and was part of the Pro TV ballet crew on shows such as and . In 2015, he started his musical career in the boyband Shot. After two years, he left the project, moved to London and began composing music. In January 2020, Ursu signed with Global Records and started his electro-pop solo project under the stage name Wrs. Buzău
The city of Buzău (formerly spelled ''Buzeu'' or ''Buzĕu''; ) is the county seat of Buzău County, Romania, in the historical region of Muntenia. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. Lithuanian Neighbouring Rights Association ( lt, Lietuvos gretutinių teisių asociacija), known as AGATA, is a non-profit performance rights organization established in 1999 that deals with the licensing and rights of music publishers and performers in Lithuania. Romanian Record Charts
Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012. Later that month, the Airplay 100—which was compiled by Media Forest and also broadcast by Kiss FM—replaced the Romanian Top 100 as a national chart. The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music.
