Royal Exhibition Building
The Royal Exhibition Building is a World Heritage-listed building in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, built in 1879–1880 as part of the international exhibition movement, which presented over 50 exhibitions between 1851 and 1915 around the globe. The 1932 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the X Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1932) were an international multi-sport event held from July 30 to August 14, 1932 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The Games were held during the worldwide Great Depression, with some nations not traveling to Los Angeles; 37 nations competed, compared to the 46 in the 1928 Games in Amsterdam, and then-U.S. President Herbert Hoover did not attend the Games. İsmet Atlı (1931 – 4 April 2014) was a Turkish people, Turkish Olympic medalist sports wrestler in the Light heavyweight class and a trainer. He won the gold medal in Men's Freestyle wrestling at the Turkey at the 1960 Summer Olympics, 1960 Olympics. He was born 1931 in Çukurören village of Kozan, Adana, Kozan district in Adana Province of southern Turkey. He began wrestling in 1950 and was trained by the renowned wrestlers Celal Atik and Yaşar Doğu. Jim Peckham
Jim Peckham (August 30, 1929 – August 23, 2011) was an American wrestler and coach. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman middleweight at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Biography Peckham was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1929. Several members of Peckham's family were also wrestlers. His father was a professional in the 1930s, his son wrestled during the 1970s, and his daughter wrestled against Andy Kaufman on '' Saturday Night Live'' in 1979. His brother, Tom, also competed at the Olympics, competing in the men's freestyle 87 kg at the 1968 Summer Olympics. At the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Peckham competed in the men's Greco-Roman middleweight event, where he was eliminated in round three (of five).
