Wrestling At The 2016 Summer Olympics – Men's Greco-Roman 75 Kg
Men's Greco-Roman 75 kilograms competition at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil took place on August 14 at the Carioca Arena 2 in Barra da Tijuca. This Greco-Roman wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. Each wrestler who loses to one of the two finalists moves into the repechage, culminating in a pair of bronze medal matches featuring the semifinal losers each facing the remaining repechage opponent from their half of the bracket. Carioca Arena 2 (Portuguese: ''Arena Carioca 2'') is an indoor stadium in Barra da Tijuca in the west zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The venue hosted judo at the 2016 Summer Olympics, judo and wrestling at the 2016 Summer Olympics as well as boccia at the 2016 Summer Paralympics. Selçuk Çebi (born June 3, 1982 in Araklı, Trabzon Province, Turkey) is a Turkish wrestler. He is a three-time world champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. He studied at Ondokuz Mayıs University. While receiving secondary education at İmam Hatip Lisesi in his native Araklı, Çebi was advised by his father to sign up for wrestling at age 12.
