"Wrapped" is a song written by Bruce Robison. First recorded on his 1998 album ''Wrapped'', then by Kelly Willis on her 1998 album '' What I Deserve'', it was later covered by American country music artist George Strait on his 2006 album ''It Just Comes Natural''. It was released on March 19, 2007 as the album's third single; Strait's version of the song reached number two on the ''Billboard'' country chart. Content "Wrapped" is a mid-tempo where the narrator explains his inability to stop thinking about a lover who has left. Stephen Thomas Erlewine (; born June 18, 1973) is an American music critic and senior editor for the online music database AllMusic. He is the author of many artist biographies and record reviews for AllMusic, as well as a freelance writer, occasionally contributing liner notes. Pinmonkey was an American country music group formed in 2002 by Michael Reynolds (lead vocals), brothers Michael Jeffers (vocals, bass guitar) and Chad Jeffers (Dobro, lap steel guitar), and Rick Schell (drums, vocals). Their first album, ''Speak No Evil'', was released independently in 2002. Later that same year, they signed to BNA Records and released their self-titled album.
