World On Fire World Tour
The World on Fire World Tour is the third concert tour by lead guitarist Slash as a solo artist, which started in July 2014 and was scheduled to resume in late 2015, in support of Slash's third solo album '' World on Fire''. The tour features the same backing band that performed with Slash during his two last tours, billed as "Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators", featuring Myles Kennedy handling lead vocal, bassist Todd Kerns, drummer Brent Fitz and rhythm guitarist Frank Sidoris. The setlist during the tour includes songs from Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver and Slash's Snakepit beside songs from Slash's solo albums, spawning the '' DVD Live at the Roxy''. ''World on Fire'' is the second studio album billed to the American band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, consisting of Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash and his backup band, released on September 10, 2014; it also acts as Slash's third solo album. The album was written by Slash and Myles Kennedy while on the road, and produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette. Kennedy had focused on rhythm guitar and vocals on ''Apocalyptic Love'', but due to his touring with Alter Bridge he worked only on vocals for ''World on Fire''. Returning members Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz played bass and drums, respectively, on the album. The album was given a limited edition box set release which included a T-shirt and a new lenticular album cover. Reception ''World on Fire'' received generally positive reviews from critics. Ottawa Bluesfest is an annual outdoor music festival that takes place each July in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. While the festival's lineup historically focused on blues music at its inception, it has increasingly showcased mainstream pop, hip hop, reggae, and rock acts in recent years. Bluesfest has become the largest music festival in Canada and the second largest blues festival in North America. Kia Forum (formerly The Forum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Inglewood, California, United States, adjacent to Los Angeles. Tinley Park (formerly Bremen) is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States, with a small portion in Will County. The village is a suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 55,971. It is one of the fastest growing suburbs southwest of Chicago. History 19th century Settlement of the area which now comprises Tinley Park began in the 1820s by emigrants from the Eastern United States. German settlers became predominant in area by the 1840s, and the village was established in 1853. The Village was called Bremen at the time. Riverbend Music Center is an outdoor amphitheater located in Cincinnati, Ohio, along the banks of the Ohio River.
