World Tenpin Masters
The World Tenpin Masters (founded in 1998) is an annual Ten-pin bowling tournament. It consists of a single lane surrounded by banked seating on both sides to give the event the kind of high-pressure atmosphere that makes the Masters the world’s leading televised bowling tournament. The event is televised by Matchroom Sport Television and will be subsequently broadcast as 15 x 1 hour programmes both at home on Sky Sports and around the world. Osku Palermaa
Osku Palermaa (born 18 November 1983 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish Ten-pin bowler now living in Partille, Sweden. He is a competitor on the European Bowling Tour, World Bowling Tour, and PBA Tour. Today Palermaa has 18 professional bowling titles to his name. He has won 13 EBT titles, and 5 PBA Tour titles. He was the EBT ranking champion for three consecutive years from 2007 to 2009, he also won the rankings 2011. Palermaa was also joint runner up in the 2005 EBT rankings, and runner up in the 2006 EBT rankings. Osku made his television debut at the 2004 U.S Open, making him the first two-handed bowler to compete in a televised PBA Tour event. Paeng Nepomuceno
Rafael "Paeng" Villareal Nepomuceno (born January 30, 1957 in Quezon City) Filipino bowler and coach who is a six time World bowling champion. He is a World Bowling Hall of Famer and is the first and only bowling athlete to be awarded with the prestigious IOC (International Olympic Committee) President's Trophy. He was also named International Bowling Athlete of the Millennium by the FIQ (Federation Internationale des Quilleurs) in 1999 and was inducted in the Philippine Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. Paeng is the first Filipino bowling athlete to be honored with a commemorative stamp when the Philippine Postal corporation issued a World Renowned Filipino Living Legend Stamp bearing his image to celebrate the 75th year anniversary of the first Philippine stamp on November 13, 2021. Tomas Leandersson (11 April 1966 – 2 November 2021) was a Swedish ten-pin bowler. Biography Leandersson was from Degerfors, Sweden. Leandersson was a member of Team Sweden for over ten years, and was a member of the team that won the gold medal in the 1990 Nordic Bowling Championships. Tore Torgersen
Tore Torgersen (born 10 September 1968) was one of the world's leading ten-pin bowlers. He is born in Stavanger, Norway but lives in Sweden. Tore started to bowl in 1980. Tore has bowled in the prestigious Weber Cup on three occasions and won two of those events. Tore is a member of the bowling team BK Skrufscha Sweden, / Sweden and Trondheim BK / Norway. Torgersen has stated that the highlight of his career was becoming world champion in UAE. He also won the Bowling World Cup in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1994. Chris Barnes (born February 25, 1970) is an American professional Ten-pin bowling, bowler and member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), who currently competes on both the PBA Tour and PBA50 Tour. He has also competed internationally as a member of Team USA. Barnes, a right-handed bowler, has been one of the leading professionals on the tour. He has won 19 PBA Tour titles and over $2.4 million (U.S.) in total prize money during his 20-year career. He has earned at least $100,000 in 14 PBA seasons, including 12 consecutive seasons (1999 through 2010–11).
