World Rally Championship-3 (2013–2018)
The FIA WRC3 is a support championship of the World Rally Championship. The calendar consists of the same rallies and stages as the parent series and crews usually compete immediately after WRC2 entrants. Entry into WRC3 is limited to cars that are based on production models and homologated under Group Rally3 rules, although prior to 2022 Group Rally2 cars were used. There are championship titles awarded to drivers and co-drivers. The series began in 2013 and was limited to production-based cars homologated under the R1, R2 and R3 rules, until its cancellation at the end of 2018. The current format of the series began in 2020. Group Rally3
Group Rally3 is a technical specification of rally car determined by the FIA. It features four-wheel drive and a maximum weight-to-power ratio of 5.6kg/hp. The class is used in the World Rally Championship (WRC) and regional championships. National rallying competitions also allow Group Rally3 cars to compete. There are three technical subclasses of Group Rally3 however these do not affect competitive eligibility so 'Rally3' may be used alone with the same definition. The group was launched in 2021 with the homologation of the first car after the introduction of the Rally Pyramid initiative to reorganise the classes of car and championships in international rallying was approved in June 2018. 2020 World Rally Championship-2
The 2020 FIA WRC2 Championship was the eighth season of WRC2, a rallying championship organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the second-highest tier of international rallying. The category was open to cars entered by manufacturers and complying with R5 regulations. Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen were the reigning drivers' and co-drivers' champions, but they did not defend their titles as they were contesting the World Rally Championship with Toyota. At the conclusion of the championship, Mads Østberg and Torstein Eriksen won the Drivers' and Co-Drivers' championships, while Toksport WRT won the teams' title. Sami Pajari (; born 1 December 2001) is a Finnish professional rallying, rally driver. He won the Junior WRC Championship in 2021 Junior WRC Championship, 2021. Jan Černý (rally Driver)
Jan Černý (4 March 1874 in Uherský Ostroh, Moravia, Austria-Hungary – 10 April 1959 in Uherský Ostroh, Czechoslovakia) was a Czechoslovak civil servant and politician. He was the prime minister of Czechoslovakia from 1920 to 1921 and in 1926. He also served as the provincial president (governor) of Moravia in 1918–1920, 1921–1928 and 1929–1939. Jan Černý was born into a furriers family in the small town of Uherský Ostroh, in the east of Moravia (Moravian Slovakia). He attended the gymnasium (a grammar school) in Uherské Hradiště from 1885 to 1893. After studies at the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague – he graduated in 1898 – he began professional career as a state servant (county director) in Hodonín. 2022 World Rally Championship-3
The 2022 FIA WRC3 Championship was the ninth season of WRC3, a rallying championship organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the third-highest tier of international rallying, running in support of the 2022 World Rally Championship. It was open to privateers and teams using cars complying with Group Rally3 regulations. For the first time, WRC3 was split into Open and Junior championships with driver and co-driver titles awarded within each. The WRC3 Open Championship began in January 2022 with the Rallye Monte-Carlo and concluded in November 2022 with Rally Japan. The WRC3 Junior Championship started in February with Rally Sweden and the five-round championship concluded in September with Acropolis Rally. The 2023 FIA WRC3 Championship was the tenth season of WRC3, a rallying championship organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the third-highest tier of international rallying. It was open to privateers and teams using cars complying with Group Rally3 regulations. Romet Jürgenson (born 22 December 1999) is an Estonian rally driver. He won the 2024 Junior World Rally Championship. Romet is also 2023 European Rally Trophy Junior champion. Career 2022 Romet won the WRC 9 video game Europe competition. Thanks to that he got a chance to compete in FIA Rally Star program final in Germany, Estering rallycross circuit, where he was selected as the winner. Renault Clio Rally3
The Renault Clio Rally3 is a rally car developed and built by Alpine Racing (previously known as Renault Sport) to FIA's Group Rally3 regulations. It is based upon the Renault Clio road car and debuted in 2023. Development The Renault Clio Rally3 was revealed in 2022. The car completes the Renault Clio ladder in relation to the Groups Rally regulation with its Rally4 and Rally5 variants, and would be Renault's first all-wheel drive challenger. The car is the straight rival to the Ford Fiesta Rally3 of M-Sport, which is only other available Rally3 car for competition.
