It consists of 50 states, a federal district, five major unincorporated territori ... at the Mohegan Sun. The tournament featured the top two ranked PDC players, Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld, partnering the top two American players, Ray Carver and John Kuczynski, and was won by the team of van Barneveld and Kuczynski. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. Philip Douglas Taylor (born 13 August 1960) is an English former professional darts player, widely considered the greatest darts player of all time. Nicknamed The Power, he dominated darts for over two decades and won 214 professional tournaments, including a record 85 major titles and a record 16 World Championships. Raymond Carver (born June 13, 1973 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former American professional darts player who competed in the Professional Darts Corporation and is generally regarded as one of the top American darts players. He was nicknamed Razor and lives in Chicago, IL. Career Carver made his World Championship debut in the 2003 PDC World Darts Championship, losing 4–0 to Wayne Mardle in the qualifying round. John Kuczynski (born October 16, 1973 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania) is a former American professional darts player. He currently resides in Zion Grove, Pennsylvania and used the nickname Johnny K for his matches. Career For five years running – 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 – he was ranked number one according to American Darts Organisation's (ADO) points standings.
