The World Chart Express chart was a show played on MTV Europe every Saturday, repeating then on Sundays and Fridays. It was a top ten chart, consisting of popular songs across the world. It was one of the few charts that actually plays music sung in different languages other than English, representing what's truly popular in each country. MTV Europe
MTV Global (formerly as MTV Europe) is the international version of the American TV channel MTV, a 24-hour music and entertainment TV channel that began broadcasting on August 1, 1987, as part of the worldwide MTV network. Initially, MTV served all regions of Europe, being one of the few TV channels focused on the entire European market. At the moment, MTV serves a number of European countries, African, Asian, Oceanian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean territories. Tata Play (stylised as TΛTΛ PLΛY, formerly TΛTΛ , sky) is an Indian direct broadcast satellite (DTH) service provider using MPEG-4 digital compression technology, transmitting using INSAT-4A and GSAT-10 satellite. Incorporated in 2005; it currently offers a total of 601 channels, 495 SD channels and 99 HD channels and services, along with many other value added services. As of March 2020, according to TRAI Tata Play serves 22 million subscribers which is 33.37% of total DTH users in India. Tata Play is the largest DTH service provider in India.
