Works Well With Others
Hugh Dillon (born May 31, 1963) is a Canadian singer and actor who is the lead vocalist of rock band Headstones. He is also a film and television actor; his notable roles include Mike Sweeney in '' Durham County,'' Ed Lane in '' Flashpoint'' and Sheriff Donnie Haskell in '' Yellowstone.'' He is also the co-creator, executive producer and series regular of the Paramount+ series ''Mayor of Kingstown.'' Early life Dillon was born and grew up in Kingston, Ontario. Dillon grew up living on the same street as future NHL star Doug Gilmour and would play hockey with him on the frozen swamp in their neighbourhood. Dillon also played hockey with Paul Langlois, future guitarist of The Tragically Hip. K-Days
K-Days, formerly known as the Edmonton Exhibition, Klondike Days, and the Capital Ex, is an annual 10-day exhibition held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada mostly in late July. In recent years it has attracted between 700,000 and 800,000 visitors per year. It runs in conjunction with the Taste of Edmonton and – from 2006 through 2012 – the Edmonton Indy. The exhibition, hosted by Explore Edmonton beginning 2022, and hosted until 2019 by Northlands, is held at the Exhibition Lands adjoining Edmonton Expo Centre. Bruce McDonald (director)
Bruce McDonald (born May 28, 1959) is a Canadian film and television director, writer, and producer. Born in Kingston, Ontario, he rose to prominence in the 1980s as part of the loosely-affiliated Toronto New Wave. McDonald has directed more than a dozen features films over the course of his three-decade-long filmmaking career. ''The Hollywood Reporter'' has called him an "iconoclastic filmmaker". Several of his films, ranging from mockumentaries to horror films, have attracted cult followings. New Wave Music
New wave is a loosely defined music genre that encompasses pop-oriented styles from the late 1970s and the 1980s. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock".
