Adrian Wooldridge
Adrian Wooldridge (born 1959) is an author and columnist. He is the Global Business Columnist at Bloomberg Opinion. Life and career Wooldridge was educated at Balliol College, Oxford, where he studied modern history and was awarded a fellowship at All Souls College, also at Oxford University, where he received a doctorate in philosophy in 1985. From 1984 to 1985, he was also a Harkness Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Wooldridge worked at ''The Economist'' weekly British newspaper for more than 20 years. He was ''The Economist''s Washington Bureau chief and the "Lexington" columnist, and was the "Schumpeter" columnist (business, finance and management) until the end of 2016. Mary Wooldridge
Mary Louise Newling Wooldridge (born 29 July 1967) is a former Australian politician. She was a Liberal Party member of the Parliament of Victoria from 2006 to 2019. She was a member of the Victorian Legislative Assembly, representing the seat of Doncaster from 2006 to 2014; her seat was abolished in a redistribution for that year's election, and she was subsequently elected to the Victorian Legislative Council for Eastern Metropolitan Region in November's state election. Wooldridge was the state Minister for Mental Health, Minister for Women's Affairs and Minister for Community Services from 2010 to 2014, serving under both Ted Baillieu and Denis Napthine. Wooldridge, Missouri
Wooldridge is a village in northeastern Cooper County, Missouri, United States. The population was 61 at the 2010 census. On October 22, 2022, a large fire destroyed 23 buildings, about half the town. History Wooldridge was laid out in 1901. The village was named for Dr. Wooldridge, the original owner of the town site. Sue Ellen Wooldridge (born February 15, 1961) is an American attorney and a former politically appointed U.S. government employee. She was formerly the United States Assistant Attorney General in charge of environment and natural resources, a division of the United States Department of Justice. Professor Sidney William Wooldridge CBE, FRS, FGS (16 November 1900 – 25 April 1963), geologist, geomorphologist and geographer, was a pioneer in the study of the geomorphology of south-east England and the first professor of geography at King's College London. He collaborated with Dudley Stamp and with David Linton. Early life and education Sidney Wooldridge was born in Hornsey, North London in 1900, the younger son of a bank clerk. Michael Richard Lewis Wooldridge (born 7 November 1956) is an Australian doctor, company director, and former politician. He served as deputy leader of the Liberal Party from 1993 to 1994, under John Hewson. In the Howard government he held ministerial office as Minister for Health and Family Services (1996–1998) and Health and Aged Care (1998–2001). Margaret Stacey Wooldridge is an American engineer known for her research on combustion of fuel-air mixtures and its byproducts, including the operation of gas turbines and diesel engines. She is Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Walter J.
