It encompasses 36 contributing buildings and 3 contributing sites in the village of Woodville. Lewiston Woodville is a town in Bertie County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 549 at the 2010 census. It is the location of Perdue Farms, one of the largest chicken-producing companies in North Carolina. History Lewiston was named for an early settler. Bertie County ( , with both syllables stressed) is a county located in the northeast area of the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 17,934. Its county seat is Windsor. The county was created in 1722 as Bertie Precinct and gained county status in 1739. American Craftsman
American Craftsman is an American domestic architectural style, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, which included interior design, landscape design, applied arts, and decorative arts, beginning in the last years of the 19th century. Its immediate ancestors in American architecture are the Shingle style architecture, Shingle style, which began the move away from Victorian ornamentation toward simpler forms; and the Prairie style of Frank Lloyd Wright.
