Salif Fofana better known by the mononym Salif (born Salif Wonka in 1982), is a French rapper based in Boulogne-Billancourt of Mali Mali (; ), officially the Republic of Mali,, , ff, 𞤈𞤫𞤲𞥆𞤣𞤢𞥄𞤲𞤣𞤭 𞤃𞤢𞥄𞤤𞤭, Renndaandi Maali, italics=no, ar, جمهورية مالي, Jumhūriyyāt Mālī is a landlocked country in West Africa. Mal ...an and Guadeloupean origin. His musical career began at the age of thirteen when he and EXS formed the rap duo Nysay in 1995. Salif released his first solo album, ''Tous Ensemble – Chacun Pour Soi'', in 2001. To date he has released four studio albums, all of which have entered the Top 75 of the French albums chart. His most commercially successful album so far was ''Curriculum Vital'', which reached a peak position of #9 in the French chart in October 2009. Wonka VM
The Wonka VM is an open-source, portable, embedded implementation of the Java virtual machine specification, together with class libraries which implement most of the Connected Device Configuration of Java ME, version 1.0. The VM itself was developed independently of any other implementation, including Sun Microsystem's RI. The same is true of most of the class libraries, but in this case some code is drawn from the GNU Classpath project. The Wonka VM was developed by telematics company Acunia to run on its ARM-based hardware. In October 2001 Wonka was released as open source software under a "revised" BSD license. Since the demise of Acunia the Wonka VM website has been hosted by software house Luminis at wonka-vm.org; however the code is no longer under active development, Wonka having effectively been superseded by the Mika VM. Pavel Wonka
Pavel Wonka (January 21, 1953 in Vrchlabí – April 24, 1988 in Hradec Králové) was a Czechoslovak liberal political activist, dissident, human rights activist, anti-communist, and the last political prisoner to die in a communist prison in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. He was born to a family of mixed Czech and German origin; a liberal supporter of parliamentary democracy, he became involved in the resistance against the communist regime of Czechoslovakia. As a result he was arrested for his liberal views, brutally beaten, starved, tortured and interrogated by the communist secret police. He was initially released because of bad health, but the judge, Marcela Horváthová, sent him back to prison for another five months. There he died due to a lack of medical care. He was the last Czechoslovak political prisoner who died while imprisoned; after the fall of communism the persecution of Wonka was deemed a human rights violation by the regime. Willy Wonka is a fictional character appearing in British author Roald Dahl's 1964 children's novel ''Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'' and its 1972 sequel ''Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator''. He is the eccentric founder and proprietor of the Wonka Chocolate Factory. Wonka has been portrayed in film multiple times. In 1971, Willy Wonka was portrayed by Gene Wilder in ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory''. Wilder's portrayal is considered widely beloved and one of his greatest roles. Wonka Bar
The Wonka Bar is a fictional chocolate bar, introduced as a key story point in the 1964 novel ''Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'' by Roald Dahl. Wonka Bars appear in both film adaptations of the novel, ''Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory'' (1971) and ''Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'' (2005), and the play, '' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Musical'' (2013) each with different packaging. Wonka bars were created by Quaker Oats (in conjunction with the producers of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). The movie was funded largely by Quaker Oats for the intention of promoting the soon to be released Wonka Bars. Quaker Oats had a problem with the formulation of the bars and Wonka Bars had to be pulled from store shelves. Other varieties of Wonka Bars were subsequently manufactured and sold in the real world, formerly by the Willy Wonka Candy Company, a division of Nestlé. Nestlé Candy Shop (formerly The Willy Wonka Candy Company) was a confectionery brand owned and licensed by the Swiss corporation Nestlé. In 2018, the branding and production rights were sold to the Ferrero Group, and as a result, the brand was discontinued. History Origins The previous inception of the Wonka brand came from materials licensed from the British author Roald Dahl. His classic 1964 children's novel, ''Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'', and its film adaptations are the sources of both the packaging and the marketing styles of the Wonka brand. Dahl had licensed the "Wonka" name to film director Mel Stuart. The film's producer, David L. Wolper, convinced the Quaker Oats Company to advance $3 million to finance the film in exchange for the right to use the Wonka name to sell candy bars.
