Wongtawan Na Chiang Mai
Wongtawan na Chiengmai, Prince Ratchabut ( th, วงศ์ตวัน ณ เชียงใหม่ เจ้าราชบุตร, May 7, 1886 – May 25, 1972) was a Thai royal from Chiang Mai. Biography Wongtawan na Chiengmai was born on May 7, 1886. In the Thai calendar he was born on Friday the 5th waxing moon of the 6th month of the year of the dog (Picho). He was the son of Maj. Gen. Chao Kaeo Naowarat and Mae Chao Chamari. He had the nickname "Chaomu." In 1897 he began his studies at The Prince Royal's College in Chiang Mai and in 1898 he transferred to the Ratchawitthayalai School in Bangkok. Lauda Air Flight 004 was a regularly scheduled international passenger flight from Bangkok, Thailand, to Vienna, Austria. On May 26, 1991, the Boeing 767-300ER operating the service crashed, following an uncommanded midair deployment of the thrust reverser on the No.1 engine, causing the aircraft to enter an aerodynamic stall, uncontrolled dive, and break up midair, killing all 213 passengers and ten crew members on board. It is the deadliest aviation incident involving the Boeing 767, the deadliest of its kind, and the deadliest aviation incident in Thailand's history as of 2022. The crash marked the aircraft type's first fatal incident and third hull loss. Kaew Nawarat
Major General Prince Kaew Nawarat ( th, เจ้าแก้วนวรัฐ; ( nod, ) ; Birth name: Kaew na Chiangmai) (29 September 1862 – 3 June 1939) was the 36th and last King of Lanna and Prince Ruler of Chiang Mai, reigning from 1910 to 1939 (Thai calendar 2454-2482). He succeeded Intavaroros Suriyavongse (1897–1910). His seat was within Lanna's capital Chiang Mai, but he never held any true administrative power. With him ended the reign of the Seven Princes Dynasty.
