''Wonderland'' ( zh, 乐园) is a 2023 Singaporean drama film directed by Chai Yee Wei. It stars Mark Lee, Peter Yu and Xenia Tan. It had its world premiere at the 24th San Diego Asian Film Festival on 8 November 2023. Synopsis Set in 1980s Singapore, the film revolves around reserved and illiterate single father Loke ( Mark Lee), Loke's only daughter Eileen (Xenia Tan) and Loke's friendly neighbour Tan (Peter Yu) who helps Loke to write letters to Eileen who is studying in New York. Chai Yee Wei
Chai Yee Wei ( zh, s=蔡于位, p=Cài Yúweì; born 21 June 1976), is a Singaporean film director, writer and producer. He is also the founder oMocha Chai LaboratoriesanA Little Seed an authorised Apple iTunes aggregator. He also founded production company Hot Cider Films, Japanese curry specialty restaurant Curry Favor, as well as an IT company and wedding photography businesses. Career Chai's debut feature film '' Blood Ties'', which premiered on 10 September 2009, was funded under the Singapore Film Commission's New Feature Film Fund. Mark Lee (Singaporean Actor)
Mark Lee Kok Huang (; born 16 October 1968) is a Singaporean comedian, actor, television host and film director. Early life Lee's father was a barber, and his mother was a food and beverage stall assistant. Growing up, Lee would help out in the hawker stall to prepare and sell cooked food, beverages, and chee cheong fun at a hawker centre. Lee was schooled in Jurong Secondary School. Peter Yu
Peter Yu (born 3 April 1968) is a Singaporean actor. He was one of the finalists from the 1990 ''Star Search'' competition, organised by Mediacorp. Yu is known for his starring roles in many Channel 8 series in the 1990s, notably ''The Great Conspiracy'' (1993), ''Love At Last'' (1994), ''Tofu Street'' (1996), '' The Silver Lining'' (1997) and ''From The Medical Files'' series.
