''I Love You So F***ing Much'' is the fourth studio album by English indie rock band Glass Animals, released on 19 July 2024 through Polydor Records. It was preceded by the single "Creatures in Heaven", released on 3 April 2024. It is their first studio release since '' Dreamland'', released in 2020. Background The album was partly inspired by the success of " Heat Waves" in 2020, with frontman Dave Bayley saying that "sometimes you aren't able to change as quickly on a personal level". He explained that success can leave one feeling like a "spectator" with accompanying expectations to act a certain way, which "confused imto the point of not knowing who ewas or if anything was real". The title is about the power and mystery of human connection in a universe that "may make us feel overwhelmingly small". Glass Animals
Glass Animals are an English indie pop band formed in Oxford in 2010. Founded and led by singer, songwriter, and producer Dave Bayley, the group also features his childhood friends Joe Seaward, Ed Irwin-Singer and Drew MacFarlane. Bayley wrote and produced all three Glass Animals albums. Bayley spent his childhood in Massachusetts and Texas before relocating to Oxford, where he met the other band members at school. Their first album, '' Zaba'' (2014), spawned the single " Gooey", which was eventually certified platinum in the United States. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). In recent years digital masters have become usual, although analog masters—such as audio tapes—are still being used by the manufacturing industry, particularly by a few engineers who specialize in analog mastering. Chris Gehringer (born May 27, 1962) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered recordings such as Gwen Stefani's '' Love. Angel. Music. Baby.'' (2004), Rihanna's '' Loud'' (2010), Lady Gaga's '' Born This Way'' (2011) and Drake's '' Take Care'' (2011). Biography Gehringer was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in Bergen County.
