	Wonderful (band) Wonderful is a Seattle, Washington band formed in 1999. History Wonderful's 2001 debut EP , ''Welcome to Wonderful'', was recorded and produced by Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville, Washington. Wonderful's first full length album, ''God Bless Our Pad'', was self produced and released in 2003. In 2011 Wonderful released their second full length ''Wake Up to Dreamland'' which featured the song "Rainbow Colors." In 2002, the members of Wonderful created the dance band U.S.E (United State of Electronica) and would remain active with both bands. 	Dream Pop Dream pop (also typeset as dreampop) is a subgenre of alternative rock and neo-psychedelia that emphasizes atmosphere and sonic texture as much as pop melody. Common characteristics include breathy vocals, dense productions, and effects such as reverb, echo, tremolo, and chorus. It often overlaps with the related genre of shoegaze, and the two genre terms have at times been used interchangeably. The genre came into prominence in the 1980s through the work of groups such as Cocteau Twins and A.R. Kane. Subsequently, acts such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Galaxie 500, Julee Cruise, Lush, and Mazzy Star released significant albums in the style. 	Jason Holstrom Jason Holstrom (born August 3, 1976) is a Seattle-based musician and member of Seattle bands United State of Electronica (U.S.E.) and Wonderful. His solo projects include The Thieves of Kailua, Tonight Sky and Sunstrom Sound Solar Cycle, a series of ambient albums following the Earth's seasonal path around the Sun. In 2012 he created music for the This American Life Live show, including the score for the Mike Birbiglia short film ''Fresh Air 2: 2 Fresh 2 Furious''. 	Ryan Hadlock Ryan Hadlock is an American record producer, best known for his production work on platinum-selling album ''The Lumineers'' by The Lumineers. Career Hadlock has been around music his entire life, as his parents Joe and Manny Hadlock, started Bear Creek Studio in 1977. The studio has remained family-owned for two generations, and is now headed by Ryan. Joe Hadlock was in a number of Seattle bands, and their family home and studio were places where creativity was always encouraged, and part of the fabric of business and socializing. 	Bear Creek Studio Bear Creek Studio is a residential recording studio located in Woodinville, Washington, situated in a barn on a 10 acre farm. Known for its "rural farmhouse" location, a number of artists have recorded at the studio, including: Brandi Carlile, Train, The Lumineers, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, James Brown, Modest Mouse, Geoff Tate, The Tragically Hip, Eric Clapton and Lionel Richie.
