Wombarra () is a northern seaside suburb of Wollongong, on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. Its main street is Lawrence Hargrave Drive. Wombarra railway station is located on the South Coast railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the village of Wombarra opening for first miner passengers on the down line on 7 December 1916 named as Wombarra (Illawarra Mercury 15 December 1916). Coledale, New South Wales
Coledale is a small sea-side village approximately north of Wollongong along the Princes Highway in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the City of Wollongong and lies between Wombarra and Austinmer. Coledale has several shops on the main road as well as a RSL club, public hall, fire station, public hospital with an aged care unit. Coledale's shops include a newsagent (that triple times as cafe & gift store), a more comprehensive gift store (sister to the cafe), selling furniture and homeware items can be found diagonally opposite on the main road. There is also a beauty salon, hair dresser and fish & chip shop. Further along the road there is another cafe/restaurant (Cole Coast) and a bottle shop. Scarborough () is a small northern seaside suburb of Wollongong on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. Lawrence Hargrave Drive
Lawrence Hargrave Drive, part of the Grand Pacific Drive, is a scenic coastal road and popular tourist drive connecting the northernmost suburbs of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, to Wollongong, in the south, and Sydney, in the north. The road was originally constructed in the 1870s as Lower Coast Road, until it was renamed in 1947 after Lawrence Hargrave, an Australian aviation pioneer and explorer who had a house at Stanwell Park and flew his devices from Bald Hill. Route The road begins at the Old Princes Highway, Helensburgh ( Princes Motorway exit) and passes through Stanwell Tops to descend the steep Illawarra Escarpment at Bald Hill, the site of a spectacular lookout and hang gliding area. Kathy Jackson
Kathy Jackson (born c. 1967) was the national secretary of the Health Services Union of Australia (HSU) between January 2008 and February 2015. In August 2015, Jackson was found by the Australian federal court to have misappropriated union funds and was ordered to repay $1.4 million in compensation, with a criminal investigation pending. Career Jackson was an official of the Health Services Union's Number Three branch which represents highly skilled health professionals like radiographers, physiotherapists, radiation therapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and psychologists from 1992, and was the Secretary of that branch until its merger with HSUeast. In 2008 she was appointed to the position of national secretary, the first female to hold that post. History The division was created in 1949 and is named for Allan Cunningham, a 19th-century explorer of New South Wales and Queensland.
