Nils Emanuel Karlsson (25 June 1917 – 16 June 2012), better known as Mora-Nisse, was a Sweden, Swedish cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier. Karlsson won gold in the Cross-country skiing at the 1948 Winter Olympics, 50 km event at the 1948 Winter Olympics and nine Vasaloppet victories. Biography He was born near Mora, Sweden, Mora. He won the Olympic gold medal in the 50 km at the 1948 Winter Olympics, a bronze medal in 50 km at the 1950 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, and a total of 37 gold medals in Swedish national championships, 17 in individual competition. He also won Vasaloppet nine times (in 1943, 1945, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951 and 1953). Karlsson won the Holmenkollen ski festival 50 km event twice (1947 and 1951) as well. Tom Walter is an American college baseball coach. He has been the head coach of Wake Forest since the start of the 2010 season. Before coming to Wake Forest, Walter held head coaching positions at George Washington from 1997–2004 and New Orleans from 2005–2009. He was an assistant at George Washington from 1992–1994. Walter's career head coaching record, as of the end of the 2014 season, is 560–473. Outside NCAA baseball, Walter served as the assistant general manager of the minor league Greensboro Bats from 1995–1996. Emil Fjellström (24 October 1884 – 14 July 1944) was a Swedish stage and film actor. Early life and stage career Emil Fjellström was born in Näs parish, Östersund Municipality, Jämtland County and grew up in the city of Östersund.
