"Woman in Black" is the 22nd episode and the first-season finale of the supernatural drama television series '' Grimm'', which premiered on May 18, 2012, on NBC. The episode was written by series creators David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, and was directed by Norberto Barba. Plot Opening quote: " It shall not be death, but a sleep of a hundred years, into which the princess shall fall." Hank ( Russell Hornsby) wakes from a nightmare. In a cafe, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Monroe ( Silas Weir Mitchell) discuss whether, and what, to tell Hank about the Wesen. A man photographs them from a parked car. The photographer delivers the photos to Akira Kimura (Brian Tee), who kills him. His body is found by a woman dressed in black ( Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). ''Grimm'' is an American fantasy police procedural drama television series created by Stephen Carpenter and Jim Kouf & David Greenwalt and produced by Universal Television for NBC. The series aired from October 28, 2011, to March 31, 2017, for 123 episodes, over six seasons. Russell Hornsby (born May 15, 1974) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Edward "Eddie" Sutton on ABC Family's '' Lincoln Heights'', as Luke on the HBO drama ''In Treatment'', as Detective Hank Griffin on the NBC series '' Grimm'', and as Lyons in the movie ''Fences''. She is known for her roles as Juliette Silverton / Eve in the NBC television series '' Grimm'' and as Lois Lane in The CW superhero television series ''Superman & Lois''. Early life Tulloch was born in San Diego, California, and grew up in Spain, Uruguay, and Argentina.
