Wolfram Demonstrations Project
The Wolfram Demonstrations Project is an Open source, open-source collection of Interactive computing, interactive programmes called Demonstrations. It is hosted by Wolfram Research. At its launch, it contained 1300 demonstrations but has grown to over 10,000. The site won a Parents' Choice Award in 2008. Wolfram Research's staff organizes and edits the Demonstrations, which may be created by any user of Wolfram Mathematica, Mathematica, then freely published and freely downloaded. Technology The Demonstrations run in Wolfram Mathematica, Mathematica 6 or above and in Wolfram Computable Document Format, CDF Player, which is a free modified version of Wolfram Mathematica and available for Microsoft Windows, Windows, Linux, and macOS and can operate as a web Browser extension, browser plugin. In geometry, the tangent line (or simply tangent) to a plane curve at a given Point (geometry), point is, intuitively, the straight line that "just touches" the curve at that point. Browser Extension
A browser extension is a software module for customizing a web browser. Browsers typically allow users to install a variety of extensions, including user interface modifications, cookie management, ad blocking, and the custom scripting and styling of web pages. Browser plug-ins are a different type of module and no longer supported by the major browsers. Computable Document Format
Computable Document Format (CDF) is an electronic document format designed to allow authoring dynamically generated, interactive content. CDF was created by Wolfram Research, and CDF files can be created using Mathematica. As of 2021, the Wolfram Research website lists CDF as a "legacy" format; it has been replaced by Wolfram Computational Notebooks.
