Wojtek Kowalski
Wojciech "Wojtek" Kowalski (born 10 October 1967 in Inowrocław) is a former tennis player from Poland. Career Kowalski represented his native country as a qualifier at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. There he was defeated in the first round by fellow qualifier Tony Mmoh from Nigeria. Andrey Merinov
Andrei Merinov (born 23 June 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Russia. Career Merinov was a national junior champion in 1989 and turned professional at the age of 19. He and partner Vladimir Gabrichidze were doubles semi-finalists in the 1992 Kremlin Cup. At the same event the following year, Merinov reached the quarter-finals in the singles. The Russian lost to Lionel Roux in the opening round of the 1997 French Open. It would be his only Grand Slam appearance. Alexis Hombrecher
Alexis Hombrecher (born January 29, 1971) is a German born former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography The Wertheim native moved with his family to the United States in 1983 at the age of 12, settling in Suisun City, California. Known for his unorthodox but powerful serve, he reached the top 5 in the national 18s rankings and won the 1989 USTA National 18-and-Under Hard Court Championships. He beat Michael Sell in the 4th round of the 1989 Boys' Junior National Tennis Championship but fell to eventual champion Chuck Adams in the semi-finals. Hombrecher played collegiately for Stanford University. He competed on the ATP Tour and Challenger Series circuits. He made a total of six main draw appearances at ATP Tour level, across 1990 and 1991.
