Witton Albion F.C.
Witton Albion F.C. are a football team, football club based in Northwich, England. They were founded in 1887 in association football, 1887. They have won the Cheshire Senior Cup 11 times since 1902 in association football, 1902. Their most recent success in this competition was in 2006 in association football, 2006, when they defeated Stalybridge Celtic in the final. They have also reached the FA Cup Second Round on at least three occasions. The club will play in the Northern Premier League Division One North (eighth tier of the English football league system) in the 2015–16 Northern Premier League#Division One South, 2015–16 season. The club's ground was for many years in the centre of the town, just behind the library. In 1989, they moved a couple of miles to Chapel Street in nearby Wincham. Wincham Park
Wincham Park is a football stadium in Wincham, a parish on the edge of Northwich, England. The home ground of Witton Albion F.C., Witton Albion, it first opened in 1989, after the club left their former Central Ground. Capacity is 4,813, with 600 covered seats on the north side of the stadium. The other three sides of the ground are all standing: the Lostock End, Wincham End, and Popular Side. It has a small club museum at the Lostock end, which is unusual in itself. Wincham Park has not changed much since its construction although cover was added at both ends of the stadium in 1990. The floodlights were replaced in 2010 after supporters walked to nearby Runcorn to raise the funds. The record attendance for a match at Wincham Park was when Witton played Kidderminster Harriers in the semi-final of the 1990/91 F.A Trophy, when 3,940 watched Albion force a replay in extra-time. Worksop ( ) is a market town in the Bassetlaw District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located south of Doncaster, south-east of Sheffield and north of Nottingham. Located close to Nottinghamshire's borders with South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, it is on the River Ryton and not far from the northern edge of Sherwood Forest. Frickley is a village in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England in the civil parish of Clayton with Frickley. It lies close to the border with West Yorkshire. Local landmarks All Saints Church Frickley All Saints Church is situated about from the main village in the middle of a field, accessed by a lane from the road. The reason for this unusual site stems back to plague times, when Frickley village was effectively burnt to the ground and re-sited on the top of the hill following a plague epidemic. The only proof that the village was ever anywhere else is the oddly sited church. Being the only stone building of the time, it was left where it was, and survives to this day as an active place of worship in the Parish of Bilham. Fleetwood Town F
Fleetwood is a coastal town in the Borough of Wyre in Lancashire, England, at the northwest corner of the Fylde. It had a population of 25,939 at the 2011 United Kingdom census, 2011 census. Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur. Burscough () is a town and civil parish in the district of West Lancashire, Lancashire, England. The town is located approximately north-northeast of Liverpool and southwest of Preston. The Lancashire Combination was a football league founded in the North West of England in 1891–92. It absorbed the Lancashire League in 1903.
