Albert Wittmer
Albert Wittmer Jr. (March 9, 1896 – March 10, 1950) was an American football and basketball player and coach, lawyer, and state legislator. He was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who attended Allegheny High School and Mercersburg Academy. His father, Albert Wittmer, Sr., was a Pennsylvania native who worked as a butcher in a slaughterhouse. At the time of the 1910 United States Census, Wittmer lived in Pittsburgh with his parents, two younger brothers and a younger sister. Wittmer attended Westminster College for one year before enrolling at Princeton University. Wittmer's education was interrupted by military service, as he served in the United States Navy during World War I. Wittmer played college football and basketball at Princeton. He played at the halfback and center positions in football and the guard position in basketball and was selected as the captain of the basketball team in 1921. Kuno Wittmer (born 6 September 1982) is a Canadian racing driver who currently competes in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Career In 2014, Wittmer won the United SportsCar Championship GTLM class. Phil Wittmer is an American information technology specialist. He served as the chief information technology officer of Kansas from July 2015 to February 2, 2018. He was the chief information officer of the Virginia Information Technologies Agency from late January to February 2022. Career Wittmer worked in for private-sector information technology companies for twenty years including as president of Lead-IT, a leadership and strategy consulting company. In July 2015, he became the chief information technology officer (CITO) of Kansas. His term ended on February 2, 2018, and he was succeeded by interim CITO Donna Shelite. Jeffrey Michael Wittmer (born September 30, 1984) in St. Louis, Missouri is a weightlifter for the United States. Getting his start in his basement gym Jeff won his first 50 competitions. Jeff is featured on the cover of the book ''Explosive Lifting for Sports'' by Harvey Newton. He holds multiple national titles and records. Jeff graduated from Hazelwood West High School in 2003. After graduation, he accepted an invitation to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. At the 2006 World Championships he ranked 26th in the 94 kg category, with a total of 338 kg. His most notable performances include 5th place at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He won a silver, and two bronze medals at the 2008 Pan American Championships in Callao, Peru, in the 94 kg category, with a total of 347 kg.
