Karen Lorre (born December 13, 1961, in Long Beach, California), widely known by her maiden name, Karen Witter, is an American actress, model, and writer. Early life Lorre was born Karen Witter in Long Beach, California. Lorre was a pre-med psycho-physiology major at the University of California, Irvine. She studied the biochemical origins of mental illness while there. To raise money for tuition, she worked as a model and appeared in commercials. Career Modeling Lorre was ''Playboy'' magazine's Playmate of the Month for its March 1982 issue, and her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag. Wendy Witter (28 February 1936 – 12 March 2024) was a public servant and charity worker from Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire, England. Biography Witter was born in Scunthorpe. She attended Scunthorpe High School before starting an apprenticeship with J. Lyons and Co. in London. She returned to Scunthorpe to work in the family window-cleaning business. Anthony Junior Witter (born 12 August 1965) is an English retired footballer who played during the 1980s and 1990s. Witter was a central defender who played for numerous clubs during his career including Millwall, Scunthorpe United and Bohemians amongst others. Richard James "Rick" Witter (born 23 November 1972 in Stockport, Cheshire) is a singer, songwriter in the York-based band Shed Seven. He was educated at Huntington School, York. Professional career Rick Witter formed his first band with schoolfriend Paul Banks in 1986, while still in his teens, and played in various local bands, including Brockley Haven, with Banks, Tom Gladwin and John Leach. Jim Witter (born November 2, 1964) is a Canadian award-winning country music and Christian music singer/songwriter. Ten of Witter's songs reached the top 10 on Canadian country radio. Biography Jim Witter grew up playing music. In 1982, he performed four songs on the "Music for Safe Water" compilation by 1280 CHAM radio.
