Alexandra E. Witt (born April 9, 1961) is an American television news journalist based in New York City who currently hosts the television news program ''Alex Witt Reports'' from 12pm to 2pm on MSNBC, where she previously hosted ''MSNBC Live'' and ''Morning Joe First Look''. Witt joined the network in January 1999. Early life and education Witt was born in Pasadena, California, and grew up in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Witt's father is Dr. Charles B. Witt, a noted thoracic surgeon in Los Angeles. Witt graduated from the Marlborough School for Girls in Los Angeles and the University of Southern California, where she majored in journalism and international relations. Howard Witt
Howard Witt (March 13, 1932 – June 21, 2017) was an American character actor and Chicago native who began his acting career in the Goodman Theatre. Early years Witt attended Von Steuben High School and was a drama student at Goodman School of Drama at the Art Institute of Chicago (now at DePaul University). Career After Witt's career began at the Goodman Theatre, he gained additional acting experience at the Woodstock Playhouse in New York State and at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. Paul Junger Witt (March 20, 1941 – April 27, 2018) was an American film and television producer. He, with his partners Tony Thomas and Susan Harris (also his wife), produced such television shows as ''Here Come the Brides'', ''The Partridge Family'', ''The Golden Girls'', ''Soap'', ''Benson'', ''It's a Living'', ''Empty Nest'', and ''Blossom''. The majority of their shows have been produced by their company, Witt/Thomas Productions (alternately Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions), founded in 1975. Nathan Witt (February 11, 1903 – February 16, 1982), born Nathan Wittowsky, was an American lawyer who is best known as being the Secretary of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from 1937 to 1940. He resigned from the NLRB after his communist political beliefs were exposed and he was accused of manipulating the Board's policies to favor his own political leanings. Michael Atwater Witt (born July 20, 1960) is a former American professional baseball pitcher. He played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball between 1981 and 1993, and threw the 11th perfect game in MLB history in 1984. Amateur career Prior to his major league career, Witt played baseball at Servite High School, and was an All-County basketball player as well. He was drafted out of high school in the fourth round of the 1978 Major League Baseball draft. Michael Witt
Michael Witt (born 1 January 1984) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in Australasia's National Rugby League (NRL) competition for the Parramatta Eels, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the New Zealand Warriors, before a season playing rugby union in the Air New Zealand Cup. He then returned to rugby league, playing in the Super League for Crusaders RL and the London Broncos. Witt then played one more season in Australia for the St. George Illawarra Dragons. The Teen Queens were an Australian pop music girl group, formed in 1991 by three model-singer-actresses: Roxanne Clarke, Kellie Crawford and Liza Witt.
