Witch Hunt (novel)
''Witch Hunt'' is a 1993 crime novel by Ian Rankin, under the pseudonym "Jack Harvey". It is the first novel he wrote under this name. Plot summary A fishing boat sinks in the English Channel in the middle of the night, and the evidence points to murder. Ex-MI5 operative Dominic Elder comes out of retirement to help investigate the explosion of the boat, as it appears that his long-time obsession, a female assassin known as "Witch", may be responsible. Using the boat to get to England from France, Witch left a subtle trail of clues to announce her arrival and to warn off Elder. But that is the least of Special Branch's worries, if Elder's well-honed intuition is correct. He has seen her work before and knows her to be a resourceful enemy, who always seems a step ahead of the authorities. With an imminent summit of world leaders to be held in London, Witch's target seems obvious. Young Michael Barclay's thoroughness leads him onto Witch's trail, with the help of his liaison in ...

''Clear Hearts Grey Flowers'' was issued on vinyl for the first time by Sympathy For The Record Industry in 2006. Release ''Clear Hearts Grey Flowers'' was intended for release on March 14, 2000. Darkwoods My Betrothed
Darkwoods My Betrothed are a Finnish black metal band from Kitee. History Formed in 1993 as Virgin's Cunt, they set out to be the "most blasphemous black metal band in Europe". After recording a couple demos under this name, the band changed their name to Darkwoods My Betrothed. They recorded the demo ''Dark Aureolis Gathering'' in 1994, not too different from the band's roots in extreme black metal, but with maturity in the song-writing and delivery and combining a traditional black metal shriek with a wail-type of scream. In 1995, Hammerheart Productions released ''Heirs of the Northstar'', their first full-length album, which was a turning point for the group, as they started to experiment with a slower-paced and more melodic viking metal sound, and use of "drunken Viking" style clean vocals mixed with traditional black metal screams. The lyrics were also quite different from those in earlier songs. Moving away from dark and Satanic, bassist/lyricist Teemu began a fascin ...

Reception ''Speak No Evil'' was one of several albums Shorter recorded for Blue Note in 1964, his first year as a member of Miles Davis's mid-1960s quintet. The album is generally regarded as one of Shorter's finest, and also a highlight of the Blue Note catalogue. ''The Penguin Guide to Jazz'' selected this album as part of its suggested "Core Collection" calling it "by far Shorter's most satisfying record". Murray Horwitz stated in 2001 that "''Speak No Evil'' is sort of a consolidation of Wayne Shorter's compositional excellence. It's so thorough and consistent and wide-ranging. It's almos ...

Witch Hunt (song)
"Witch Hunt" is a song by Canadian rock band Rush. It was released on their 1981 album '' Moving Pictures'', and unlike many other Rush songs it was a true studio production, with a variety of percussion instruments and overdubs, and a separate keyboard player. It is the first of four songs in what has been called the band's "Fear" series, the other three being "The Weapon" (from ''Signals'', 1982), "The Enemy Within" (from '' Grace Under Pressure'', 1984), and "Freeze" (from ''Vapor Trails'', 2002), although this song is the third part of the series in order, and went on reverse chronological order by the album (except the "Freeze" is the exact fourth part like normal chronological order). Content, lyrics, and production The song opens with the sounds of a mob, which Lifeson explained was recorded outside Le Studio on a cold December day, with the band and others shouting, warmed by a bottle of Scotch whisky; they recorded a dozen tracks of this. The lyrics describe how a vigilan ...
