Wisconsin Mr. Basketball
Each year the Wisconsin Mr. Basketball award is given to the person chosen as the best high school boys basketball player in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, in the United States. The award has been given since 1982. Winners are chosen by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association at the time of their annual All-State selections. Most of the award winners have gone on to play at the highest levels of college basketball, and some have gone on to play in the National Basketball Association. Voting is done by a panel of retired WBCA members that select the winner after receiving nomination information and reviewing film on each candidate. Only those in the senior class are eligible to win in Wisconsin. High School
A secondary school describes an institution that provides secondary education and also usually includes the building where this takes place. West Virginia Mountaineers Men's Basketball
The West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team represents West Virginia University in NCAA Division I college basketball competition. They are a member of the Big 12 Conference. WVU has won 13 conference tournament championships, and has 29 appearances in the NCAA tournament, including two Final Fours, most recently in 2010. The Mountaineers have also appeared in 16 National Invitation Tournaments, and have won two championships, in 1942 (which West Virginia considers a National Championship)and 2007. Whitefish Bay High School
Whitefish Bay High School is a comprehensive public secondary school located in the village of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, United States. Enrollment is 947 students, in grades 9 through 12. The school newspaper, the ''Tower Times'', and the school yearbook, ''The Tower'', both refer to the school building's five-story tower and facade that rise over the main entrance. The school colors are blue and grey. The school's mascot is the "Blue Duke". Whitefish Bay is a member of the North Shore Sports Conference. Diamond Stone
Diamond Louis Stone (born February 10, 1997) is an American professional basketball player. He played one season of college basketball for Maryland before being drafted 40th overall in the 2016 NBA draft by the New Orleans Pelicans. High school career Stone attended Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. As a senior, he averaged 24.4 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. He finished his career with 2,193 points. During his four years, he helped lead Dominican to four-straight WIAA Division 4 state championships. During the 2015 McDonald's All-American Game, Stone hit 7-of-9 shots for 14 points and also had three rebounds. The Detroit Pistons are an American professional basketball team based in Detroit. The Pistons compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division and play their home games at Little Caesars Arena, located in Midtown. Henry Ellenson
Henry John Ellenson (born January 13, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for Club Joventut Badalona of the Liga ACB. He played one season of college basketball for Marquette, before being drafted 18th overall by the Pistons in the 2016 NBA draft. High school career Ellenson played basketball at Rice Lake High School, where he also competed in track and field ( high jump and discus). UW–Green Bay Phoenix Basketball
The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. The head coach for the Green Bay Phoenix is Will Ryan. History The Green Bay men's basketball teams' began in the 1969–70 school year where they competed at the NAIA level before it moved to NCAA Division 2 in 1973. The Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball team is the college basketball, intercollegiate men's basketball program representing the University of Virginia. The school competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference in NCAA Division I, Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team (formerly the Marquette Hilltoppers and Marquette Warriors) represents Marquette University in NCAA Division I college basketball and competes in the Big East Conference. Stevens Point Area Senior High (commonly called SPASH) is a high school located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. It is part of the Stevens Point Area Public School District.
