Wisconsin Highway 152
State Trunk Highway 152 (often called Highway 152, STH-152 or WIS 152) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs in east–west in east-central Wisconsin from Wautoma to Mount Morris. Route description The highway begins at the intersection of Townline Road and East Main Street ( WI 73/ WI 21) in Wautoma. It continues north for a short distance before turning right at East Mount Morris Avenue and continuing east from its intersection with North Townline Road. The route continues northeast through the town of Wautoma before running northward and terminating at county highways G and W in the community of Mount Morris. Wautoma, Wisconsin
Wautoma is a city in Waushara County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 2,218 at the 2010 census. Wautoma is the county seat of Waushara County. The city consists of three noncontiguous areas: one is entirely within the Town of Wautoma, the second is entirely within the Town of Dakota, and the third straddles the boundary between the two towns. Wautoma calls itself the "Christmas tree capital of the world". The Kirk Company of Tacoma, Washington, operated the "Wautoma plantation" of more than of Christmas trees, beginning in 1953. On August 29, 1992, the town was struck by a half-mile wide F-3 tornado, killing 2 people, injuring 30 others, and causing over $5 million in damage. Mount Morris is a town in central Waushara County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,092 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Mount Morris is located in the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.2 square miles (91.2 km2), of which, 34.2 square miles (88.6 km2) of it is land and 1.0 square miles (2.6 km2) of it (2.84%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 1,092 people, 481 households, and 344 families residing in the town. The population density was 31.9 people per square mile (12.3/km2). There were 994 housing units at an average density of 29.0 per square mile (11.2/km2). Waushara County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 24,520. Its county seat is Wautoma. Waushara County is located in central Wisconsin, about north of Madison. History Waushara County was established by an act of the Wisconsin Legislature on February 15, 1851. It originally consisted of a single organized Town of Waushara. In 1852 the county achieved full organization. The county seat was first located at Sacramento and was relocated to Wautoma in 1854 after a bitter fight between proponents of the two places. Wisconsin Highway 73
State Trunk Highway 73 (often called Highway 73, STH-73 or WIS 73) is a state highway in the central part of the US state of Wisconsin that runs mostly north–south from Ingram to near Edgerton. The exception is in Wood and Adams counties, where this highway runs east–west. It is one of the longer Wisconsin state highways. Route description WIS 73 starts in Dane County at an interchange with Interstate 39 (I-39), I-90 (exit 160), US Highway 51 (US 51) north of the city of Edgerton. Also near this junction, WIS 106 meets WIS 73 east of Albion. WIS 73 heads north where it meets US 12 and US 18. WIS 73 continues north and heads to Deerfield. State Trunk Highway 21 (often called Highway 21, STH-21 or WIS 21) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs east–west across the center of the state between Sparta and Oshkosh. The route often serves as a direct route for travelers between Appleton and Oshkosh to Tomah and La Crosse. It is a two-lane surface road for nearly all of its length, with the exception of a few urban arterials of four or more lanes.
