Wisconsin's 2nd State Senate District
The 2nd Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in northeast Wisconsin, the district comprises most of Shawano County, Wisconsin, Shawano and Outagamie County, Wisconsin, Outagamie counties, as well as parts of eastern Waupaca County, Wisconsin, Waupaca County and western Brown County, Wisconsin, Brown County. It includes the villages of Allouez, Wisconsin, Allouez and Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin, Ashwaubenon, in the Green Bay, Wisconsin, Green Bay metro area, and the city of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Kaukauna, near Appleton, Wisconsin, Appleton. Wisconsin Assembly, District 4
The 4th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in northeast Wisconsin, the district comprises part of central Brown County, including the villages of Ashwaubenon and Allouez, and parts of the city of Green Bay and the village of Howard. The district also contains Lambeau Field (home of the Green Bay Packers) and historic Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Woodlawn Cemetery. Redistribution (re-districting in the United States and in the Philippines) is the process by which electoral districts are added, removed, or otherwise changed. Mike Gallagher (American Politician)
Michael John Gallagher (born March 3, 1984) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2017. His district covers the state's northeastern part. Gallagher succeeded Representative Reid Ribble after the 2016 election. His service in Congress has been notable for contributions in national security. Early years Gallagher lived in Green Bay through middle school. After his parents' divorce, he moved to California and studied at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, while spending summers in Wisconsin. Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District
Wisconsin's 8th congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in northeastern Wisconsin. It is currently represented by Mike Gallagher, a Republican. Gallagher won the open seat vacated by Reid Ribble who retired in 2016. It is also one of two Congressional Districts to ever elect a Catholic priest, Robert John Cornell. The 8th District has leaned Republican throughout its history; seven Democrats have represented it since its creation, but none have served more than two terms. It became more of a swing seat in the 1990s. In 2004, Republican George W. Bush won 55 percent of the vote in the district, while in 2008, Democrat Barack Obama received 53.6 percent of the vote. Bonduel, Wisconsin
Bonduel is a village in Shawano County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,478 at the 2010 census. History As founded, the community did not have an officially agreed upon name. Some early news reports called it Hartland Corners, presumably in reference to the surrounding town, named Hartland. The name Bonduel was not established for the community until an application for a post office was made in 1864, at which point "Hartland" was rejected as already being in use as a village name in Wisconsin. Therefore, the village was named Bonduel when the post office was created. The village is named after a Jesuit missionary, the Rev. Florimond Bonduel, who served Wisconsin parishes and who worked with the Menominee Indians, helping them settle on their newly created reservation in 1853. Bonduel incorporated as a village in 1916. Peter A. Schmidt (born July 3, 1992) is an American dairy farmer and Republican politician from the U.S. state of Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 6th Assembly district since January 2023. Biography Peter Schmidt was born in Shawano County, Wisconsin, graduated from St. Paul Lutheran School, and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point. Hobart, Wisconsin
Hobart is a village in Brown County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was over 10,000 at the 2020 census. Hobart is a part of the Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area. The village is located entirely within the former treaty boundaries of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. History On May 13, 2002 the Town of Hobart incorporated as a village. Hobart is named for Episcopal Bishop John Henry Hobart of New York who sent missionaries to the Oneida people and ministered to them after removal from New York to Wisconsin. Joy L. Goeben (born October 16, 1972) is an American teacher, business owner, and Republican politician from Brown County, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 5th Assembly district since January 2023. Biography Joy Goeben was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from Green Bay East High School and then earned her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, and completed her master's in education at Walden University.
