Wiregrass Ranch High School
Wiregrass Ranch High School is a Pasco County public school, in Wesley Chapel, Florida, U.S.. This was the first new high school in Pasco County in seven years, and was built to relieve overcrowding primarily at Wesley Chapel High School. In the first part of the 2006/2007 school year, it was based in portables behind Thomas E. Weightman Middle School and used many of their facilities, such as their cafeteria and media center, before the permanent facility opened in January 2007. On November 23, 2019, the Wiregrass Ranch Marching Bulls won the FMBC Florida State Class 4A Championships, becoming the first marching band in Pasco County to do so, and placed third in the entire state as well. Wesley Chapel, Florida
Wesley Chapel is a census-designated place in Pasco County, Florida, United States. Wesley Chapel is a suburb in the Tampa Bay Area. Wesley Chapel originated in the mid-1800s as a cohesive community of settlers who demonstrated a uniquely rural authenticity and independence of spirit. Evidence of Native American presence in the area has been documented as early as 10,000 BC. Lumber harvesting and turpentine production became prominent industries, while cash-crop farming, citrus, and livestock ranching provided sustenance for the pioneer settlement. Pasco County is located on the west central coast of the U.S. state of Florida. According to the 2020 census, the population was 561,691. John Michael Gant (born August 6, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, and Minnesota Twins.
