Winter Weezerland
Weezer's ''Christmas CD'' (also called ''Christmas EP'' or simply ''Christmas'' on music streaming platforms) is a two-track promotional EP officially released January 1, 2001. It was sent to radio stations, as well as in small quantities to members of the band's fan club. The songs were recorded at Rivers Cuomo's home studio, dubbed "Mocha Fusion Studios", in October and November of 2000. Additional work was done at Cello Studios. The cover of the CD features the band members dressed in Santa costumes, photographed by Weezer webmaster and historian Karl Koch in November 2000. ''Winter Weezerland'' The set was re-released in 2005 by Geffen Records via iTunes in 2005 under the title ''Winter Weezerland''. The cover artwork features the same photograph used on the back of the ''Christmas CD''. As of 2008, the EP is no longer available on iTunes. Weezer
Weezer is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1992. Since 2001, the band has consisted of Rivers Cuomo (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Patrick Wilson (drums, backing vocals), Scott Shriner (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Brian Bell (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). Brian Bell
Brian Lane Bell (born December 9, 1968) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He is best known as the rhythm guitarist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, and occasional lead vocalist of the rock band Weezer, with whom he has recorded fifteen studio albums. Bell also fronted the rock band The Relationship and was the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Space Twins. Moving to Los Angeles at the age of eighteen, Bell played bass guitar in the band Carnival Art, releasing three studio albums with the band before departing in 1993. Bell subsequently joined Weezer as its rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, at the request of band member Matt Sharp. Mikey Welsh
Michael Edward Welsh (April 20, 1971 – October 8, 2011) was an American artist and musician who played bass for several bands, including the rock band Weezer. During Weezer's hiatus, he played with Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo in the band Homie (band), Homie, during Cuomo's time in Boston. Following original bassist Matt Sharp's departure from Weezer, Welsh joined as bassist and played with them from the time that they unofficially regrouped in 1998 until August 2001, when he experienced mental health problems. Shortly afterwards, he retired from music to focus on his art career. Welsh died from a drug overdose on October 8, 2011. Career Welsh was born on April 20, 1971 in Syracuse, New York. The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. As of April 2020, iTunes offered 60 million songs, 2.2 million apps, 25,000 TV shows, and 65,000 films. When it opened, it was the only legal digital catalog of music to offer songs from all five major record labels.
